The offensive smell that comes from your mouth is call halitosis. It is an unpleasant odor that comes from your mouth.
Doctors say that the leading cause of halitosis in a large percentage of patients who seek help for it, is bacteria which has accumulated in the mouth. This may be due to poor oral hygiene, aggravated by eating certain types of food, adhering to unhealthy lifestyle habits, stress (which may not be readily apparent or discernible as the cause), dehydration, badly fitted fillings, and some other factors.

Treatment options for those suffering from tonsil stones has become widely available over the past several years. Unfortunately, there aren’t any “one and done” solutions. But with some changes to your regular oral habits combined with regular use of the products available, it is possible to keep the little buggers from being a nuisance.
It’s definitely no fun at all when one of these annoying little tonsil rocks gets stuck right at the base of your throat. It won’t go up. It won’t go down. It hurts to swallow, and if you’re really unlucky, it will have the most awful taste imaginable. Getting these things to go one way or the other is often and challenge, and can even leave you feeling a little queasy afterward.
